Season ticket

If you have to use the MVV regularly you can save money by buying a season ticket (Zeitkarte).

As a student Ausbildungstarif II is the right tariff for you.

Before you can use this tariff you have to obtain a customer card (Kundenkarte)

In order to do so, you need to fill out an application form and take it to the MVG Kundencenter located at the U6 Stop "Poccistraße" or at the DB Season Ticket Centre at the central station. When you go there, also take a passport photo, your passport and an Immatrikulationsbescheinigung from the university. You will also need to bring your resident's registration you got when you registered at the Kreisverwaltungsreferat or the leasing contract for your apartment (the tariff only encompasses the distance between your home and the university).

Depending on the number of rings you need to travel, the season ticket starts at €32,90 (1 ring).
