This is the schedule for the first semester students starting in 2010
EES conference
The academic year starts with the EES Conference on the 12th and 13th of October.
Mathematics
During your first two weeks here, there will be a short mathematics course offered. You are advised to go to this course as it will greatly help you to understand the ecology and evolution courses during the first semester. The course will take place from 9:00h - 12:30h. Days will be announced
Excursions planned
Every Master's student has to do an individual research training (IRT), or lab rotation, every semester. In the first semester, you need to do a 4 ECTS (120 hours) project in an EES lab. In the first four weeks of the semester, you will visit some labs where you could do an IRT.
The orientation schedule has information on all of the lab tours.

Note: The Skills course is divided into two parts. For the first half of the semester, you will focus on presentations. During the second half of the semester you will focus on writing. Please also note, that while on Mondays, Skills 1 & 2 take place at the same time and in the same room, time and place change for the Thursday courses.
