EESLMU stands for the Munich Graduate School for Evolution, Ecology and Systematics. It started in September 2006 and is funded by the Volkswagen Stiftung. The EESLMU Master program began in October 2007. In March 2008, we wrote a progress report for the Volkswagen Stiftung, which you can download here. The EESlmu Master is a new program (since 2007) for German and international students with a background in biology or a related subject. All courses are offered in English. The EESlmu Master contains many innovative elements such as a mentoring program, integrated skills courses and individual research training. We also apply a feedback and revision system instead of simple grading.
